A kite festival (Uttarayana in Gujarati language) is generally celebrated on 14th January every year. On this day sun moves in to capricorn rashi.But for few years, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has started International kite festival to attract global tourists and Gujaratis spread around the world.This year kite festival was celebrated during 10th to 14th January in Sabarmati river front.The kite champions from around the world came here and took part in it.Not only kiters came here, but the stalls of the different home products and foods were also stalled here. We attended this place on 12th January.My children enjoyed a lot.Have a look on some photographs.
